What we collect and why

If you sign up for the weekly PDF, we store your email address and the date and proof of your consent (you confirm it by clicking the link we email you). We use them only to send you the weekly email with the story PDF and occasional news about Lenguatales. The legal basis is your consent (article 6.1.a of the GDPR).

Who processes it

Our email provider, Resend (Resend, Inc., United States), stores the list and sends the emails on our behalf. Transfers to the United States are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. The website runs on Cloudflare, which also gives us anonymous visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics): it uses no cookies, does not track you across sites and does not identify you; we only see totals such as pages visited, the referring site, country and device type. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to us. After you unsubscribe we delete your data, except the proof of consent, which we keep while we could be asked for it.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to its use, and to take it with you, by writing to hola@lenguatales.com. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Cookies and videos

This website does not use cookies of its own. Visit statistics come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies. Videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode: YouTube only sets cookies when you press play. See Google's privacy policy.
